Abstract

Through the access of Fernando Augusto Albuquerque Mourão collection, this paper aims to present the contributions of this intellectual in so many fields of your studies. Thus, we intend to organize his archives and memory presented in the collection in order to rebuild his career. With the analysis of these personal files, we aim to examine part of the professional and personal paths of this important Brazilian intellectual. Therefore, some moments of his academic and personal paths will be checked, since his connection with the Casa dos Estudantes do Império, em Portugal, until the creation of an elemental place to the African studies in Brazil, combined with the international African relations: the Centro de Estudos Africanos, of the Universidade de São Paulo.

Author Biography

Clauber Ribeiro Cruz, Paulista State University UNESP

Docente do IFRJ Resende, atuando nas seguintes áreas: Língua Portuguesa, Língua Inglesa e Literaturas. Doutor (2018) e Mestre (2013) em Letras/Literatura e Vida Social (UNESP/Assis). Licenciado em Letras (2010), Português/Inglês e Literaturas (UNESP/Assis). Coordenador do projeto extensionista "Sermentes Poéticas: Clube de Leitura Literária", bem como do "English Conversation Club". Além disso, coordena o projeto de pesquisa "Literatura na Escola: práticas literárias de formação leitora", tal como o "What's on your playlist? A música como recurso pedagógico para o ensino e aprendizado da língua inglesa". Ademais, é membro do NUGEDS - Núcleo de Gênero e Diversidade Sexual, do IFRJ Resende, e docente do curso de Pós-graduação em ensino interdisciplinar de línguas, com a disciplina "Práticas literárias de formação leitora", do IFRJ/Niterói.
