Abstract

This article will analyze the Petrobras Technical Bulletin as part of the collection of national scientific heritage. The journal, published between 1957 and 2012, counted on the participation of scientists and technicians from Petrobras and from outside its staff, in various areas of knowledge, and was even sent to sixty countries and several universities. The magazine's content brings technoscientific aspects related to the oil production chain, marking since the beginning the process of research and development of national knowledge, techniques and technologies. The perspective is to discuss the magazine's editorials and their relationship with the context of oil and technological policies in Brazil, in the period from 1957 to 1973, when there is a turn towards the sea and the deposits located on the continental shelf. As a result, it is proposed to perceive the journal as a constituent of the Brazilian scientific heritage due to the material and immaterial goods that it brings in its pages.

Roger Domenech Colacios é Professor do Departamento de Fundamentos da Educação da Universidade Estadual de Maringá (UEM). Pós-Doutor em História pela Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP), câmpus de Assis. Doutor e Mestre em História pela Universidade de São Paulo (USP). Graduado em História pela Universidade Estadual de Londrina (UEL). Coordenador do Laboratório de Pesquisa em Educação e História Ambiental (LEHA) da UEM.
