Abstract

In this article, through literature review, I discuss the view of some English novelists, intellectuals, academics, and politicians about the native peoples of English colonials in the late 19th century. From Edward Said's postcolonial perspective, I intend to revisit discourses, articles, and European literature to understand how European colonial agents thought to act in accordance with their expansionist and colonial interests.
